'Sweet smelling' in the Bible
Take also unto you the finest spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet-smelling cane two hundred and fifty shekels,
And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet-smelling incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
And he burnt sweet-smelling incense on it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dripped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.
His cheeks are like a bed of spices, like sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dripping sweet smelling myrrh.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling fragrance.
